What are you using to successfully manage the one and only thing your service department sells?

The due date is We used to use sticky notes pasted all over the advisors desk. Then we upgraded to our service advisor remembering it all in his head. We then tried the paper day planner with a pencil and eraser and then....

If you are not using the right tool to manage the available time you have to sell, you don't know (and never will) what is truly possible to achieve from your service department.

Our Service Manager and advisors were slow to accept this exceptional tool that would eventually end up proving itself over the course of the year as being the single best investment we have made in our service department operation to increase profitability.

Our Service Manager, like many who manage completely by "gut feeling" rather than using a computer and statistical data to make improvements, was surprised at the end of this year to see his department had one of the best years on record for profitability. We had made no other drastic changes in the departments overall operation other than working with the Schedule Power program.

There will always be some level of resistance to any change from what employees are used to and comfortable working with. The staff at Schedule Power worked diligently with our team to make sure we were getting the most out of the use of the program and assuring our success with it.

They were immediately available if we ever had a question which gave us that warm and fuzzy feeling you want from any vendor you deal with to know we didn't just buy into the program and not have it backed up with the full support of the company. Questions from us would come up daily, then slowing down to weekly, monthly and now we are very proficient with it. At the point of thinking back on how it used to be, in my opinion there is no way better way to operate the department for selling time.

The web based statistical visibility from the Schedule Power Dashboard can give top level and department managers (who actually do use computers) immediate feedback on how effective your advisors are at managing the time you have to sell from any computer that has an internet connection.

Without a doubt this program has been the leading factor for turning a decent service department into a top performing, money-generating machine for our dealership. Service only has time to sell and Schedule Power is the program that has helped us best manage selling all of it.
